How billing works on Shopify
Billing through the Shopify App Store differs from signing up directly. Here are the four things worth knowing before you start.
Billed through Shopify
Charges appear on your Shopify invoice. You do not need to add a separate credit card to Promolayer.
7-day free trial on paid plans
You are not charged during the trial. Cancel within the trial period and nothing is billed.
Prices are in US dollars
The amount charged in your local currency depends on the exchange rate at the time of payment.
If you uninstall the app
Billing stops as soon as you uninstall. Under Shopify's billing policy, unused time is not refunded.
Not running on Shopify?
If you want to be billed in Japanese yen, or you are installing Promolayer on a site outside Shopify, use our direct plans instead. The plan line-up and the core popup features are the same, but Shopify-integrated features — discount code autogeneration and auto-apply, plus targeting by customer tag and cart data — are only available on stores that have the Shopify app installed.
